In February 2014, Congress passed a Farm Bill that cut SNAP benefits to an estimated 850,000 households by an average of $90 per month.

These cuts will harm too many of the most vulnerable members of our society. Seniors, people with disabilities, children, low-income workers, and unemployed people will now have to make do with less money to put healthy, nutritious meals on the table.

Be sure to thank the members of Congress who opposed SNAP cuts and spoke out on the importance of defending food stamp benefits. See how your Senators voted. See how your Representative voted.
